Current major projects:
- ADHD school-based prevalence and health risk behaviors, CDC/HRSA, Role: Biostatistician
The purpose of this project is to estimate the prevalence of ADHD in elementary school children in urban, suburban, and rural schools.
- Community Preparedness and Health Protection, CDC/HRSA, Role: Biostatistician
The purpose of this project is to assist, advocate for and establish response plans for selected communities in developing and implementing support networks to assist families when a disaster occurs
- The Oklahoma LEND program: Leadership Education for Health Professionals Caring for Children with Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities, provides training through course work, practicums, and research experience. Role: Biostatistician and core faculty member in Public Health and research.
The LEND program provides interdisciplinary training to students in 11 major health professions.
- ONARCH Faculty Development Plan of the NARCH program of the Five Civilized Tribes (Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole Nations). Role: P.I. and Biostatistician
The purpose of this program is to provide research training and mentoring for health leaders of the Five Civilized Tribes and other tribal professionals in Oklahoma.
