Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)
The Doctor of Public Health degree (DrPH) is an advanced professional working
degree designed to provide broad preparation in the fundamentals of public
health as well as to provide education for a higher level of research, teaching,
or professional service in public health than is attainable through the master's
level program. Specialization in one of the five public health disciplines
is required: biostatistics, epidemiology, health administration and policy,
health promotion science or occupational and environmental health.
